The National Safety Council annually recognizes June as National Safety Month. During this time, the Council highlights key safety issues, such as slips, trips, and falls, which can be common hazards across the energy industry and other industrial sectors. Earlier this month, the National Safety Council teamed up with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for a nation-wide safety stand-down to prevent falls in construction. This stand-down allowed organizations around the country the opportunity to voluntarily discuss safety issues their employees face every day.
Absolute Consulting’s Field Professional Manual contains a solid Safety Policy for contract employees, and most importantly, requires contractors to abide by the site safety policies of each client company.
