Absolute Consulting has completed various types of transmission & distribution projects:
Northeast Utilities – supplied the project manager and procedure writers to develop the system operating center procedures for dispatch operations. Absolute Consulting was also in charge of scheduling and completing the 250 operating instructions, developing the manuals of the new administrative program and creating the websites for the Connecticut Light & Power’s processes in addition to developing procedures for the operations and maintenance departments.
Consolidated Edison of New York – provided various services as follows:
- supplied a project facilitator and procedure writer to develop a multi-departmental procedure for the substation operations divisions
- assisted in developing and writing preventative maintenance and inspection instructions for the company’s high voltage electricity power distribution components
- assisted in setting up a prototype corporate safety website performing functions such as web page editing and linking corporate documents through the corporate intranet
- supplied a project leader tasked to develop procedures for the scheduled inspections and repair needs of the company’s switchyard transmission and distribution equipment and worked in close coordination with the engineers and mechanics
