Dominion Resources Possum Point Nuclear Power Plant Unit 6 – during post start-up period, supplied the senior operations advisor who served as the owner’s representative. In this capacity, our field professional was responsible for managing shift operations to ensure efficient and timely start-up and shutdown of units on a daily basis as well as provided daily updates to the operations manager on the status of the power plant and the competency of the personnel manning the plant. Other functions included provision of guidance to personnel; development and validation of logs, procedures, training of operating staff, identification of logic and graphic deficiencies, organization of developing items database and continuous updating of plant owner on unit operations.
