What do you do at Absolute Consulting?
I am part of a team whose goal is to introduce our services to new and existing energy industries. Whether it be wind, solar, biomass, or geothermal energy; Absolute Consulting provides the staff augmentation, consulting services, and direct hire placement needed for our clients to get the job done. Some of my job duties consist of developing new relationships with clients based on trust, building our existing business, and recruiting top candidates.
What is your background?
I have an extensive background in business and sales as a Nasdaq Market Maker / Sales Trader at some of the largest investment banks and brokerage firms in the world. Throughout my career I have worked for Citigroup, TD Ameritrade, CIBC Oppenheimer, and others. During my tenure on Wall Street I spent over eight years trading distressed equities and have also worked as a liaison to various systems development teams. My IT projects focused on helping build new proprietary trading platforms, commission generating software, and systems rollout testing. My knowledge of a traders needs along with an understanding of the development teams abilities and limitations helped create valuable trading solutions. I am FINRA / NASD Licensed Series 7, 63, & 55 (Inactive).
What is something you have been or are currently involved with that most people would not know?
I played high school ice hockey.

Warren Buffett, Richard Branson, Mark Messier, and Derek Jeter.
What trait did you inherit from your mom or dad?
I love music, I listen to everything! Currently on my iPod…Pete Tong, Jay-Z, Paul Van Dyke, and Guns & Roses
Describe the biggest challenge in your job?
Establishing a presence and building a reputation of excellence in a new line of business.
You’re on a deserted island, what are your three “must haves?”
My iPod, a hammock, and a Corona!
